Robert B. Casarona  focuses his practice on  small and mid-size business. He is also recognized for his management of  disputes and prevention counseling with emphasis on business, construction and environmental litigation. He has served as lead trial counsel and handled lawsuits throughout the United States and has argued appeals in several districts and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, his practice includes extensive experience in mediation and arbitration. He has represented large corporations, small business, executives, shareholders, and government agencies. He has also represented individuals, providing a variety of  personal services over his career.  He currently serves as General counsel to The Sweeping Corporation of America and has been trained and serves as a mediator.

  • Lead counsel on the  defense of a multi-plaintiff  tort case involving alleged contamination from a gas station.
  • Multiple  environmental enforcement defense cases , including  criminal enforcement.
  • Counsel on Comprehensive, Environmental ,Response ,Compensation & Liability Act (CERCLA) defense, as well as other remediation based case theories.
  • Lead Counsel on $800 million toxic tort class action involving radioactive materials.
  • ​Counsel on nuisance and trespass cases, including class actions.
  • Negotiated multiple Consent Orders with US and Ohio EPA.
